I have no clue what I am doing, but I have promised some very good friends of mine that I would get one so here we go. I guess I'll just start with now. School is getting out and my all consuming job is at a close. Though it was quite a wonderful experience working with kids at a performing arts high school, I am ready for a break. This morning my daughters and I went for a hike near the Gunlock reservoir. It was really nice to spend time with them again. We caught tadpoles and learned about metamorphosis. The weather was beautiful! On the way home we saw a hawk hangin' out on a fence post. We were about 3 feet away. It even screeched at us. I took a couple of pictures of it. WAY COOL! As for the rest of my day; I spent some time working on a song that has been rattling around in my head lately and I wrote a sad poem about a girl who gave up on her only chance at love before it even came. Maybe I'll post it sometime. Now let me finish off with a quote,

Emma Emma I love you!!! Yay for starting a blog...now I can see you all the time! Glad you got to hike and spend time with your girls. Nothing sound better then that.
